Cet été (août 2023), je suis partie à la découverte du sentier le plus célèbre des Pyrénées : le GR10.
J’ai réalisé le tronçon entre Etsaut et Cauterets.
Il peut se faire à une allure plus ou moins tranquille en 6-7 jours, de mon côté je voulais me challenger un peu et le boucler en 3 jours et demi.

Je précise que ce n’était bien évidemment pas ma première expérience en montagne, en bivouac, en autonomie, ni en solitaire.
Je ne conseillerais pas à un débutant de s’élancer sur ce type de parcours qui est assez exigeant et qui nécessite une préparation particulière.

Et enfin, rappel qui ne fait pas de mal : la randonnée n'est pas une pratique à prendre à la légère, informez-vous et équipez-vous convenablement avant de partir. La montagne, bien que belle, reste un milieu hostile auquel il faut savoir se préparer.
Et surtout, respectez la nature ! (= on ne laisse aucun déchet derrière soi !!)

Une belle traversée, technique et sauvage, permettant de découvrir la diversité des Pyrénées.
Cette traversée suit la Haute Route Pyrénéenne, un chemin d'altitude s'efforçant de suivre la crête et la frontière. En bonus, un passage par l'Aneto et le Vignemale !
Traversée réalisée en 34 jours de marche, entre le 8 juin et le 17 juillet 2022, de Banyuls à Hendaye.
